Bob Boyle (Executive Director and Founder)

Bob Boyle has 16 years industry experience with key expertise gained from his previous positions held at Astex Therapeutics, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Cambridge Discovery Chemistry and Pfizer.

Stuart Travers (Executive Director and Founder)

Stuart has more than eighteen years industrial experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors focusing on drug discovery and has previously held positions in Paradigm Therapeutics, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Cambridge Discovery Chemistry and Glaxo Wellcome.

Ashok Venkitaraman (Non-Executive Director)

Ashok is the Ursula Zoellner Professor of Cancer Research in the University of Cambridge Department of Oncology, Director-elect of the Medical Research Council's Cancer Cell Unit, and leads a new initiative in Cambridge focused on drug development for cancer. He works extensively with industry, serving on the scientific advisory boards of Cambridge Antibody Technology and Astex Therapeutics.

David Tapolczay (Director)

Dr David Tapolczay has 22 years experience of R&D management; his past roles include joint worldwide head of chemistry for Zeneca agrochemicals and senior manager of chemical development for Glaxo. He has also been involved with the start up of 5 companies all of which are still trading and one of which has been AIM listed. He was most recently VP of Technology Development for GSK pharmaceuticals.

Gavin Simpson (Founder)

Gavin Simpson is currently a partner of an investment management co, Omnipartners LLP. He has worked in finance industry for 15 years, the last 7 years of which he has worked as a fund manager. Gavin has a Bachelor of Accounting and Business Finance (Honours) from the University of Dundee and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

Geraldine Rogers (Director)

Geraldine joined the University of Cambridge in 1994. She worked first for Professor Chris Lowe at the Institute of Biotechnology and then moved to work in technology transfer at the former Wolfson Industrial Liaison Office (now part of Cambridge Enterprise). She now works for the Cambridge Enterprise Seed Funds where she is responsible for biotechnology investments. She has completed investments into Akubio, Smart Holograms, DanioLabs, Lumora, DeltaG, British Stem Cell Registry, Ampika, Psynova, Sentinel Oncology and CellCentric. She serves as a Non-executive Board member on five Fund companies. Geraldine has a first degree in Mcrobiology, a PhD in Biochemistry and holds the FSA full Investment Management Certificate.
